The Research Institute of Slovaks in Hungary, in cooperation with the Slovak High School, Elementary School, Kindergarten, and Boarding School in Békéscsaba, organized the 17th National Student Academic Competition. The main theme of this year’s competition was the 75th anniversary of Slovak ethnic education in Hungary.

The ceremonial announcement of the results and the presentation of the entries took place within the walls of the Slovak educational institution in Békéscsaba. Students from the Faculty of Primary and Pre-School Education at ELTE performed exceptionally well in the competition.

All four students majoring in Slovak at the institution participated in the competition.

• First-year student Boglárka Brachna achieved third place on the podium with her excellent performance.

• First-year student Fruzsina Simon and second-year students Fanni Maruszki and Regina Frisala received certificates of participation.
